The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) has a excellent resources for the transitioning officer. They have an array of information on the Career Section of their website. Here you can find information on MOAA's Career Fairs, transition lecture schedule, articles on transition, and more. Visit their MOAA Career Center.

The heart of MOAA's Career Resources is The Officer Placement Service (TOPS). Through TOPS you can search for job opportunities that are specifically targeted to the transitioning officer. You can post your resume on TOPS. You must become a member of MOAA to be able to take full advantage of the TOPS Program. However, you will find that this membership has many rewards beyond TOPS.

Looking for opportunities in Florida?

TOPS has established networks in every state. These networks are coordinated by a State Coordinator who can send information out to a network of MOAA Members who have volunteered to assist transitioning officers. The Florida State TOPS Coordinator is a Member of the Mayport MOAA Chapter. Send an email to MOAATOPSFLORIDA@aol.com with a copy of your resume. Your resume will be sent out to the network.
