The Mayport Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) has agreed to support two military related programs in the Jacksonville Florida area: the Jacksonville Area USO and various ROTC/JROTC units. 

Our Chapter has signed a RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT with the Greater Jacksonville Area USO wherein the Chapter has agreed to provide expertise and resources to help the USO carry out its mission in support of the Armed Forces of the United States of America. The Chapter has encouraged community financial and volunteer support of the USO by briefing various Civic and Fraternal organization on the work being accomplished in making a "Home Away from Home" for the men and women of our Armed Forces. this has resulted in a two year financial underwriting of No Dough Dinners for families of deployed service members, and, initiating the purchasing and shipping of the Drinks for Balad program for troops in Iraq and Kuwait. The Mayport Chapter MOAA actively supports the ROTC Program at Jacksonville University and the JROTC Programs at 12 local high schools.  We are proud to recognize the academic and military achievements of these cadets.
